Dancing and Grooving

This is Bee.

She is a smart and bubbly 9 year old. She loves to talk, and will chat all day if you give her a chance. She likes to make jokes, and get others to join in on the laughs. Her favourite things include moving to music, ice cream, trips, swimming, shouting and laughing, being swung around, and standing up! She loves to stand whenever she gets a chance and will stand for hours if you support her. When she's standing she rarely ever stays still. Music or no music, she dances and sways her body back and forth.

Bee has cerebral palsy and this gives her little control over the use of her legs. Her leg muscles`are weak, but she is working hard to get them stronger so that one day she can walk. There is a physiotherapist at Rainbow House but with so many kids who have similar disabilities, Bee struggles to get the one on one attention she needs to one day be able to walk.

 This is Bee's t-shirt.

The profits made from the sale of this t-shirt would go towards special physiotherapy for Bee, so that one day she might be able to walk. It would cover the costs of the physiotherapist as well as any extra needs she might have for equipment.

Mobility would be an amazing gift to Bee in so many ways. She could walk, and she could dance.

Braiding and Climbing

This is Anna.

She is a energetic little girl. She is a bit of a tom boy and loves to run around. Her favourite things are climbing on people and objects, playing with hair, braiding string, tying stretchy things, running, eating, and being thrown up in the air! She is full of fun, and never gets tired of playing.

Anna speaks very little. She is capable of speaking, but never has. She struggles with communicating to people who don't know her. She can say her name clearly and loudly but has difficulty with other words.

This is Anna's t-shirt.

The profits made from the purchase of this t-shirt would go towards Anna beginning speech therapy. She would be able to learn ways in which to communicate to others around her and interact more effectively. It would fund her individual needs as she began to learn how to speak, or use signs.

Communication is of huge importance in anyone's life. Anna does have the ability to communicate but just needs help to get started.

Bright Minds

These are the children.
They are the children of Rainbow House Orphanage. They are bright kids, eager to learn and show off everything they know. They love to play, build things, make crafts, do puzzles, get messy and all of the things kids around the world enjoy.

Many of them have physical disabilities, but that does not hold them back from their ability to learn and do well in school. They live in Thailand and yet are surrounded by a huge tourism industry that craves individuals who can speak English. Learning the English language opens up many new job opportunities to the Thai person. For the children at Rainbow House, it would allow them to one day become independent by giving them a very valuable skill set.

This is the childrens' t-shirt.

The profits made from this t-shirt would go towards funding an English program for the kids at Rainbow House. It would include a curriculum, materials and supplies, and money for trips relative to their English learning.

The gift of being able to speak and understand the English language for these children is incredible! It opens doors for jobs all over Thailand. It gives this kids a better opportunity to have an independent future.

Jumping and Clapping

This is Joy.

He is a happy little 10 year old boy. He has a mental disability where he doesn't always understand what is going on around him, but he manages to continue laughing and smiling. His favourite things to do are attempting to count or sing the abc's, eat, jump, eat, click his tongue, eat, clap his hands, eat, dance to music, and eat! He loves all types of food and will eat anything set in front of him. He loves to explore and hold your hand while doing it.

Unfortunately Joy has difficulties with his digestive system and needs a specific diet in order to get all of the nutrients he needs. Even though he eats and eats and eats, he is malnourished. The orphanage has many kids and to make him his own food and buy him certain ingredients is very expensive and time consuming.

This is Joy's t-shirt.

The profits made from this shirt will go towards a nutritionist evaluating the diets of the children at Rainbow House. It will also go towards ensuring that Joy is consuming food that he can digest and get nutrients from while he is at Rainbow House.

He loves to eat. Help make it good for him!
